Dr. Anju Mehta
MBBS, MD (Anaesthesia), JCCP Level 7 PGD in injectables
Every treatment is doctor-led
Every patient who visits The Hair Office from Nine Elms is seen and assessed by a doctor. Dr Anju Mehta personally oversees your diagnosis and treatment, so every recommendation is based on a proper medical assessment – not a sales package.
Your treatment is planned jointly by Dr Anju Mehta and Kelly Morrell, combining medical expertise with specialist hair restoration knowledge to understand why your hair is thinning before recommending anything.
Our aim is to provide honest, evidence-informed recommendations that focus on long-term hair health rather than short-term solutions.

Kelly Morrell
Hair Restoration Specialist · 2024 finalist, Hair Restoration Practitioner of the Year
Specialist hair restoration
Kelly has worked in hair loss since 2014 and in aesthetics since 1994, and brings that experience to every Nine Elms patient’s treatment programme. She delivers many of our treatments, including the Calecim Advanced Hair System, scalp micropigmentation, scalp detox, red light therapy, genetic (TrichoTest) and wellness testing.
Working alongside Dr Anju Mehta, Kelly assesses each person individually rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, and builds a personalised programme around your diagnosis. She was a 2024 finalist for Hair Restoration Practitioner of the Year.
Hair loss is extremely common – around half of women notice thinning by the age of 50, and up to 80% of men experience pattern hair loss to some degree. Common does not mean it has to be accepted.
Hair loss is rarely caused by a single factor. Genetics, hormones, nutrition, stress, scalp health and medical conditions can all play a part. That is why we never start with a treatment package: we start with an assessment, so that what we recommend is based on the cause of your hair loss.
If we feel a treatment is unlikely to help, we will tell you – and explain the options that are more likely to.

Learn moreA professional Cere Cleanse scalp detox to create a clean, balanced base for healthy hair and for other treatments.
Learn moreNatural-looking micropigmentation to recreate the appearance of density or a defined hairline.
Learn moreGenetic hair loss testing and our Hair Loss Wellness Test help identify the factors behind your hair loss so treatment can be properly targeted.
Learn moreEvery patient begins with a comprehensive consultation. This includes a detailed discussion of your concerns, medical history, medications, lifestyle factors and previous hair treatments, together with an examination of your scalp and hair using trichoscopy where appropriate.
Where needed, we may recommend blood tests or genetic testing to identify contributing factors. Seeking an assessment early does not mean you need treatment immediately – it simply means you can make an informed decision while there are more options available.

Most treatments take under an hour and have minimal downtime, so many patients come before or after work and return to their day straight afterwards.
We discuss your concerns, medical history, medications, lifestyle and previous treatments, and examine your hair and scalp – using trichoscopy where appropriate – before recommending any treatment.
There is no single best treatment. The right option depends on the cause of your hair loss, which is why every plan starts with a proper assessment. Many patients benefit from a combination of treatments.
Your care is led by Dr Anju Mehta, together with hair restoration specialist Kelly Morrell, who has worked in hair loss since 2014 and was a 2024 finalist for Hair Restoration Practitioner of the Year.
